Leading engineering projects through all phases;
Using Lean Manufacturing tools and Six Sigma to recommend changes in production methods and procedures;
Troubleshooting problems;
Recommending cost reduction and quality improvement solutions;
Assisting with employee training requirements within manufacturing and maintenance;
Developing best practice methods and communicating those methods to all appropriate plant personnel;
Managing daily line issues relating to equipment, tooling and work instructions;
Enhancing the company's competitive advantage by keeping informed of new or improved designs, methods, and materials.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years of experience in manufacturing engineering;
Strong in mechanical, production and process issues;
Experience leading a team using lean manufacturing tools and techniques;
Project Management skills;
Strong root cause problem solving skills;
AutoCAD or SolidWorks competency preferred;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
