60 an hour The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and troubleshooting zinc die cast machines that produce parts for assembly and powder coat operations of the factory.
The position will be responsible for making machine adjustments, handling hot molten zinc safely, lifting and moving production parts, troubleshooting and cleaning machines.
The Machine Operator will work with all areas of the company, specifically with supervisors, other department personnel, quality control and engineering.
Deco is hiring immediately for this production position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Excellent attendance Be focused and engaged.
Coordinate with others to perform the assigned work load within that department.
Using tools and lifting or moving production parts.
Making machine adjustments.
Clean and maintain machines Maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Dependable Basic math skills.
General understanding of manufacturing practices.
Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions.
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Capacity to take direction.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required.
Education and Training Eighteen years of age and either a high school diploma or GED.
Mechanical Ability Mon - Thur 11pm - 9am 10 hr shift includes paid lunch and break Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
